This was amended in 1957 to the name of Natural Gas Pipeline Company of America. The original office was located in the NGPL building. The field of membership expanded throughout the years to all other office locations of NGPL and Harper Oil Company, along with  Buckhorn Petroleum Company, which was wholly owned by MidCon Corporation.

Funds Availability Policy

It is our policy to make members’ funds available upon the same day of deposit in most cases, or at least $100 with additional funds available the next business day by 9:00 a.m.  Funds in this category include cash, local checks, electronic payments, government checks (Treasury checks, U.S. Postal money orders, Federal Reserve Bank/Federal Home Loan Bank checks, state/local government checks), cashier’s checks, teller’s checks, certified checks, “on-us” checks.  Nonlocal checks (payable by/at/through a different Federal Reserve District than the depository credit union) may be delayed until the fifth business day following deposit.  Some cases may require cashback limited to $2,500 in any one day, at the discretion of the credit union.

Funds are considered deposited when received by a teller when physically presented for deposit; when received, in cases where mailed to the credit union; when removed, for deposits made at night depositories or other devices designated by the credit union.

Funds deposited after 4:00 p.m. will be credit on the next business day.

Funds may be delayed under circumstances as applicable on a case-by-case basis and we may hold or restrict these funds subject to limits established in Regulation CC, Expedited Funds Availability Act (12 CFR229).

  • Emergency conditions beyond our control;

  • Large deposits (over $5,000);

  • Redeposited checks;
